Dr Amadou BEYE is the AfricaRice Regional Representative (ex-WARDA). He also serves as Seed Expert. He holds a PhD in Genetics (1983), an MSc in Plant Selection (1980) and several certificates: Cotton Fiber Technology, Biotechnology, Statistics, Mechanics autos and textile factories, Sports Medicine and First Aid, Manual Techniques , Etc. He has five major innovations: the Community Seed System (CBSS), cyber seeds, the creation of 6 varieties of cotton, the development of a technological package for the dissemination of Nerica rice varieties and the creation of a smooth technology transfer medium called « Regional Research and Development.
